(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen Detained
2. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Hongyu Missing for Ten Months and Counting
3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Jing Arrested
4. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Yao Ailing Harassed
5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Had a Second Court Hearing
6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Geng Caixia Under Residential Surveillance

1. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen, in her 50s, was arrested while distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on December 28, 2025. She is now held in the Jialing District Detention Center and has been issued a formal arrest warrant.

2. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Huang Hongyu Missing for Ten Months and Counting

Ms. Huang Hongyu been missing since in April 2025.

3. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Jing Arrested

Ms. Wang Jing was arrested on January 20, 2026, by officers from the Beiguan Police Station and the Weicheng District Domestic Security Division.

4. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Yao Ailing Harassed

Ms. Yao Ailing was harassed at home on January 4, 2026, for putting up Falun Gong posters. Her Falun Gong books were confiscated. She was summoned to the Qingshui Police Station the next day, and was forced to sign documents, provide fingerprints and a voice recording, have her photograph taken, and give a blood sample. The police also ordered her to sign a five-day detention warrant, which she refused to sign.

5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Had a Second Court Hearing

Ten Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province, residents made their second court appearance on January 27, 2026. They are: Mr. Wang Nanfang, 68; Mr. Zhou Shuyou, 62; Mr. Wang Zexing, 57; Ms. Hu Fengju, 62; Ms. Hu Mingli, in her 60s; Mr. Liu Haitao; Mr. Wang Guogang; Ms. Huang Yuping; Ms. Li Suqin; and Ms. Lai Chunlian.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Geng Caixia Under Residential Surveillance

Ms. Geng Caixia was arrested at home by Nanfan Police Station officers on January 15, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to the Tangshan City Detention Center for seven days and released on bail for one year. She was placed under residential surveillance by the Guye District Police Department in January 2026, after her one-year bail expired.
