(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 11 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Xiurong Detained
2. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Mr. Qin Shugao and His Wife Ms. Jia Lanzhi Detained
3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qi Haixia and Ms. Song Xiufang Detained
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Huang and Ms. Jiang Arrested
5. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hongying Detained
6. [Chongqing] Ms. Zou Hualan Detained
7. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Shulian Harassed

1. [Yingkou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Chen Xiurong Detained

Ms. Chen Xiurong was arrested on September 17, 2025, when talking to people about Falun Gong at the Lutun Farmers’ Market. She has been detained at the Yingkou City Detention Center since.

2. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Mr. Qin Shugao and His Wife Ms. Jia Lanzhi Detained

Mr. Qin Shugao and his wife Ms. Jia Lanzhi, both in their late 70s, were arrested in Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province, in 2025 for distributing Falun Gong materials. The police confiscated their printer and over 70,000 yuan in cash from their home. The couple were denied admission to the detention center due to their health, and were released on bail for one year.

Mr. Qin and Ms. Jia were arrested by the Xi’an Police at their residence in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, in February 2026 after the bail expired. They are currently detained in the Xi’an City Lockup.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qi Haixia and Ms. Song Xiufang Detained

Ms. Qi Haixia and Ms. Song Xiufang were reported to the police in mid-February 2026 for distributing Falun Gong materials. The police raided both of their homes and took photos of them, but did not arrest them due to the upcoming Chinese New Year. Both practitioners were summoned to the police station on March 6, 2026, where they were arrested immediately and taken to the Pingdu City Lockup for five days.

4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Huang and Ms. Jiang Arrested

Ms. Huang and Ms. Jiang were recently arrested by Silian Street Police Station officers for distributing information materials about Falun Gong. Ms. Jiang has been released, but Ms. Huang is still detained.

5. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Hongying Detained

Ms. Wang Hongying was arrested at home on February 4, 2026. In the ensuing home raid, the police confiscated several Falun Gong books, four hand-embroidered Falun emblems, a painting, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and a computer and printing materials. While the police released Ms. Wang later that day due to high blood pressure, they took her to a hospital for another physical exam the next day. She was then taken to the Dingxing County Lockup for 15 days. She was released on February 20, 2026.

6. [Chongqing] Ms. Zou Hualan Detained

Ms. Zou Hualan from Changshou District was arrested by Gelan Police Station officers on the morning of March 6, 2026. She was admitted to the Changshou District Detention Center the next day.

7. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Shulian Harassed

Ms. Li Shulian was harassed at home by police and local community staff members on the afternoon of March 5, 2026. They ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, a cell phone, and a media player. The police returned the next day to interrogate Ms. Li.
