(Minghui.org) In 2024 I met a man from the Xinjiang Autonomous Region who was selling flatbread. I had a feeling he came to hear me tell him about Falun Dafa.

He was 20 years old and said he worked as a police officer for three years. When I asked why he quit, and he said, “They discouraged me from doing good things, so I quit.” I felt what he said described a characteristic of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Due to the differences in our dialects, he understood me but I had difficulty understanding him. So he spoke slowly and used hand gestures to communicate. He said, “My mother is paralyzed from the waist down, and my father takes care of her. My wife gave birth to twins. To support my family, I left them and my hometown 16 days after my children were born.” He looked at the sky and wept, and I also shed tears after hearing his story. He gave me his phone number.

I brought him a calendar which had information about Falun Dafa in November 2024. I also gave him copies of Minghui Weekly and Master’s lectures. He read them all and began following Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

He said, “I think that doing bad things accumulates karma, so I should strive to be kind.” He renounced the CCP with his real name, and often recited “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”

His business picked up and he thanked me. I told him, “I’m glad you learned about Dafa. Let’s thank our great Master! He is the hardest working of all.”

The man’s wife and children, along with his oldest brother and wife moved to Sichuan in February 2025. The man’s second brother and wife, oldest sister-in-law’s two brothers, and two friends and their spouses came to Sichuan later. I gave them informational materials about Falun Dafa and Master’s latest lectures, and encouraged them to recite, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” They learned about Dafa, the persecution, and quit the CCP with their real names.

The man’s relatives and friends sold Xinjiang flatbread at various markets and their business prospered. I sometimes helped them sell flatbread and it was a good opportunity to talk to their customers about Dafa.

I will cultivate with diligence, do the three things well, awaken people, and follow Master home!
