(Minghui.org) As a truck driver, I often travel on highways, and most of my trips take me to Beijing and the surrounding areas. The company I work for generally rents a large warehouse that we share with another business. Since 2004, the company has been relocated six times. Wherever I go, I take the opportunity to spread the truth about Falun Dafa (also known as Falun Gong) by distributing pamphlets and posting stickers. I also talk to people.
In November 2005, our business rented a warehouse that we shared with a small paper cup factory that employed five people: a manager, a salesperson, two laborers, and a truck driver. Everyone except the truck driver had learned the truth about Falun Dafa and withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
Master Li said:
“Also, with those people that you run into by chance, who you run into in daily life, and the people you run into at work, you should all clarify the truth to them. Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness. Don't lose those who should be saved, especially those with predestined connections.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World Volume IV)
The laborers and the driver enjoyed listening to me talk about history, the goodness of Dafa, and the contents of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. I told them, “Everyone comes to this world with a wish and longing for goodness.” One of the workers, a 20-year-old woman, asked me, “Since Falun Dafa is good, will believing in Dafa help me to fulfill my wish?” I replied, “That’s a good question. Dafa not only helps you fulfill your wishes, but also improves your character.” I then shared my understandings from the Fa on why we suffer in this human world and where we ultimately should aspire to go after this life.
After the dock hands finished unloading my truck, they gathered around me. One young man brought over two electric batons and handed them to me, “You’re a disciple of Master Li. Here are the electric batons. If our driver does not quit the CCP, you should shock him to teach him a lesson.” My boss had bought the batons because we’d been losing goods and other personal items since we moved there.
I replied, “You completely misunderstand Falun Dafa. We follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. We cultivate compassion. How could we hurt someone on purpose?”
When the driver with the paper cup factory heard I cultivated compassion, he used this as an excuse to test me. He took an electric baton and shocked my feet. When I didn’t react, he lifted my pant leg and shocked my leg. I saw flashes of blue light and heard popping sounds, but I was unharmed.
The young man was stunned and stared at me in disbelief, “What’s going on? The shocks of the electric baton do not hurt you. We couldn’t even stand the shock through our leather boots.” Another person said, “His foot and legs must have Kung Fu powers to resist the shock. Maybe the other parts of his body do not have Kung Fu powers!”
To demonstrate, I took the electric baton and lifted my fleece jacket to expose my abdomen and shocked myself. I did not feel anything. I then applied the baton to my neck, and, although I saw flashes of blue light and heard popping sounds, I felt nothing. They were all amazed: “We admire Master Li and you practitioners!” The driver exclaimed, “I have to admit it—Falun Dafa is a divine cultivation way. I want to quit the CCP!”
This driver had served in the army and had joined the Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers. He knew how corrupt the military was: “I spent 2,000 yuan to bribe my team leader to join the CCP.”
I said, “I will help you quit the CCP using a pseudonym. That will be good thing for you to do.”
Telling people the facts about Dafa inspires me to study the Fa well and continue to improve myself. As I share Dafa with those who are predestined, my wisdom grows. While driving my truck over the past 20 years, I have met many predestined people and encouraged them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
I once had to deliver goods in a remote mountain village. When I got there, I noticed a group of villagers engaged in conversation. One of them looked in my direction, as if waiting for me to come over. I parked my truck and asked Master to strengthen my righteous thoughts to save those predestined people. There were about 12 people there, and another one was walking over with a stool. I felt this was all Master’s arrangement.
I joined the group and found a spot to sit down. Before I could speak, the coworker who came with me said, “He practices Falun Gong. Let him tell you something important.” He then gave me a proper introduction. Surprisingly, a young man in his 30s piped up, “Falun Gong is much better than the CCP. Look at today’s society—all those corrupt officials, from village-level officials to the central government—not a single one is innocent. High-ranking officials are seriously corrupt, and low-ranking officials are corrupt in small ways.”
“Well said!” I clapped in approval. “The CCP has been in power for so many years and is responsible for countless disasters. Eighty million of our people have died in the CCP’s various political movements. Its crimes are unpardonable!
“Now, it’s even worse. Ever since the staged Tiananmen self-immolation, the CCP has been deceiving people even more and is governing the country with lies. Our ancient cultural roots have been completely destroyed.”
One person stood up and said, “You’ve been to many places and know a lot. Please tell us more.”
I took the opportunity to explain what Falun Dafa is. I told them that, in the face of all the natural and man-made disasters nowadays, they should remember the auspicious phrases “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,” which will keep them safe when calamities strike. I then wrote down the names of those who wanted to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
I’m very fortunate to be one of Master’s disciples. As long as we have the wish to assist Master with the Fa-rectification, he will make the best arrangements to elevate us and provide us with opportunities to help people recognize the true nature of the CCP.
