(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Dequan Sentenced to Six Years in Prison
2. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Liqing and Liu Bin Arrested, Guo Tao’s Whereabouts Unknown
3. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Face Indictment
4. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Peng Xiaolan Arrested
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Zenghui Harassed
6. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Xie Hong Held in Brainwashing Center

1. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Dequan Sentenced to Six Years in Prison

Mr. Li Dequan was arrested in 2023 and sentenced to six years in prison in 2024. His arrest came only one year after he finished serving a previous seven-year term for practicing Falun Gong.

2. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Sun Liqing and Liu Bin Arrested, Guo Tao’s Whereabouts Unknown

Mr. Sun Liqing and Liu Bin, gender unknown, were arrested around mid-March 2026.

Guo Tao, gender unknown, has been missing for a week.

3. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Face Indictment

Mr. Yang Shuguang, Ms. Wang Qingrong, Ms. Wu Shiyang, Ms. Yin Shuling, and Wu Chenghua, gender unknown, were arrested on January 31, 2026, by officers from the Xinxing District Domestic Security Division and local police stations. The police had been using drones to monitor them. They are now facing indictment by the Taoshan District Procuratorate.

4. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Peng Xiaolan Arrested

Ms. Peng Xiaolan was arrested right after she passed the entrance of her sub-division on March 12, 2026, by captain Shi Kai and other officers from the Qingshanhu Domestic Security Division.

They accused her of distributing Falun Gong flyers and searched her purse. Her electric bike, over 200 yuan in cash, two flash-drives, a bank card, and other items were confiscated. They also raided her home and seized a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, three Falun Gong books, a notebook computer, two cell phones, some clothes and hats, and other personal items. Her other residence was also searched.

Both Ms. Peng and her husband were taken to the Fota Police Station for interrogation. They were released that evening.

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Zenghui Harassed

Ms. Li Zenghui was harassed at home on March 11, 2026. The police took pictures of her and ordered her to sign some documents. She refused to comply.

6. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Xie Hong Held in Brainwashing Center

Ms. Xie Hong, around 50, works at the China Construction Bank. She was arrested at home on March 5, 2026, by officers from the Yimin Police Station. She was taken to a brainwashing center located in the former Beicheng Procuratorate building.
