(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners from five cities and counties in southern Taiwan held a two-day, one-night Fa study and experience-sharing session at the Chunghwa Telecom Co., Telecommunication Training Institute (Kaohsiung Branch) on March 28–29, 2026.
Practitioners were divided into eighteen groups the first day, to study the Fa and exchange cultivation experiences of how they looked inward during conflicts in their lives, how they clarified the truth about the persecution and introduced Falun Dafa, and how they improved their xinxing.
On the morning of the second day (March 29), they all practiced the exercises in the gymnasium. They studied the Fa, and then watched the documentary “Unbroken: The Untold Story of Shen Yun.” Afterwards they discussed current projects, such as countering the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) transnational repression.
Many practitioners said they gained insights and benefited from attending the event.

Mr. Huang used to work at a state-owned enterprise and described his cultivation experiences.
Before he retired he missed several opportunities to be promoted. He remained at his original work unit as a supervisor, shouldering a heavy workload and performing his duties with hands-on dedication and a profound sense of responsibility. Some coworkers advanced their careers by taking projects he initiated and bringing them to fruition. The disparity left him with a profound sense of disappointment.
Through cultivation, he came to realize that he had the attachment of jealousy. He needed to let go of those negative attachments, specifically the pursuit of fame and gain.
Huang also spoke of his rather unique circumstances in obtaining the Fa. He found Zhuan Falun—distinguishable by its golden-yellow cover—on a library periodical rack. After borrowing it, he found he loved it deeply. He read it in just three days, and many questions he had for years were answered. He said, “A coworker practiced Falun Dafa for some time, and he introduced it to me because I was deeply engrossed in the stock market.” This experience made him cherish this hard-won relationship with the Fa even more.
Huang experienced profound changes in both body and mind after he began practicing. The stubborn eczema that plagued him for years cleared up without medical treatment. He learned to let go of the attachment to personal gain. He resolved financial disputes within his family by footing the bill to alleviate his brothers’ financial burdens. He also became more tolerant and ignored the accusations leveled against him by his younger siblings.
Huang said that through cultivation he learned to let go of his attachments, and he realized how precious and beautiful Falun Dafa is.
Young practitioner Ms. Wang, originally from Penghu, one of Taiwan’s offshore islands, now lives in Taichung and has two young sons. She recently organized a children’s summer camp in her hometown, Penghuto.
She recalled how as a child, her mother took her to Kaohsiung to attend the Minghui Children’s Summer and Winter Camps—these experiences deeply impressed her, and she had fond memories. She felt that attending these Minghui camps helped little practitioners in their cultivation. To provide the next generation of little practitioners with an environment for group Fa study and sharing, Ms. Wang decided to organize a similar activity in Penghu.
Because she graduated from a dance program she incorporated children’s dance and music composed by Dafa practitioners into her curriculum. She taught the children to sing and dance. The camp included group Fa study, doing the Falun Dafa exercises, and outdoor activities. She arranged for the young practitioners to visit the beach to distribute truth-clarification materials and handmade lotus pendants to tourists.
Tourists were highly receptive to receiving gifts from innocent and polite children. Some even asked for the small pendants and offered positive feedback. Ms. Wang said, “I’ve noticed that when it comes to clarifying the truth, children tend to harbor fewer fears or apprehensions than adults, so it’s easier for them to do this.”
She learned that although the event was small in scale and the preparation time was tight, as long as one had a pure and righteous mindset, everything went smoothly.
Ms. Shi, a supervisor at a financial institution, said it was challenging to cultivate oneself steadfastly in ordinary human society.
Fifteen years ago, a close colleague suddenly turned against her, loudly accusing her during a meeting. She felt deeply wronged and was moved to tears. Shi was later promoted to a supervisory position, and her supervisor asked whether she was willing to accept that employee as a subordinate. Ms. Shi viewed it as a test of her compassion; although she felt conflicted she let go of her grievances.
When a wave of resignations led to a severe staff shortage she was not distressed by the lack of manpower, instead viewing it as an opportunity to make a fresh start. She resolved to devote herself to her duties, maintain her inner composure, and do what needed to be done without seeking any personal gain. Although the hurdles initially appeared daunting she managed to navigate each one smoothly.
She realized that the status of one’s cultivation directly impacts the workplace environment; only by exercising forbearance during conflicts and maintaining a pure mindset can one walk the righteous path of cultivation in this complex society.
Ms. Wang, who works in the Department of Imaging Medicine, attended a nine-day Falun Dafa class about three years ago. She did not continue to cultivate due to a heavy workload.
Two events last year were a turning point in her life. She was involved in a serious car accident in April but wasn’t hurt. She fell out of bed in June and dislocated her spine. During the three-month recuperation following surgery, she studied the Fa every day, and attended the Nine-Day class for a second time. She began cultivating.
After she began practicing she was able to resolve conflicts with a peaceful mindset. Faced with the heavy responsibility of caring for her hospitalized father, and friction among her siblings, she adjusted her mindset and went from being resentful to understanding.
She has a passion for painting and in her spare time she manages an art studio. In addition to creating her own artwork, she teaches painting. She let go of her attachment to money and provides materials at cost to help promote authentic art. She also displays Dafa books in her studio to share with those who are predestined to encounter them. She reflected, “Cultivating ‘Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance’ has elevated me from being kind to having compassion.”
During the New Year, Mr. Chen, a retiree, received a ticket when he parked his car in a spot he had used for decades. He initially thought a neighbor reported him, but he immediately realized that as a practitioner, he should look inward and reflect on himself. He let go of his grievances and looked for a different, legally designated parking space. Through what appeared to be a coincidental arrangement he found a sheltered rental spot that was better than his original location. Mr. Chen said he appreciates the positive outcomes when we look within.
Mr. Xie works in a restaurant, and said that he chose not to directly confront the owners of a neighboring shop when they acted badly about parked vehicles. He yielded some parking space and created signs to guide guests to avoid the disputed area, thereby demonstrating his benevolent side.
Practitioners shared how they were able to let go of personal grievances and anger and improve the environment around them when they faced conflicts of interest.
