(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 10 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Wang Jinbo Detained
2. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Mr. Shi Wenzhuo and Mr. Li Yanmin Abused in Prison
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guofen Detained
4. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Niu Yuge Tried
5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shi Qing Detained; Ms. Hu Yanhua Missing
6. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Mengxiang and Ms. Zhu Arrested
7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Rui Arrested

1. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Mr. Wang Jinbo Detained

Mr. Wang Jinbo, 60, was arrested on February 21, 2026, and his home was ransacked. The Wanbailin District Police Department placed him under criminal detention.

2. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Mr. Shi Wenzhuo and Mr. Li Yanmin Abused in Prison

Mr. Shi Wenzhuo is serving a six-year term in the Gongzhuling City Prison. Because he refused to write statements to renounce Falun Gong and its founder, the guards forced him to sit on a bench from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. The food he purchased from the prison shop during the Chinese New Year was confiscated, and not to be returned unless he writes the statements as ordered.

Mr. Li Yanmin is also being tortured for refusing to renounce Falun Gong. In addition to being forced to sit on a bench from 4:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, he was given only a steamed bun and a little water for each meal and permitted only three restroom breaks per day.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guofen Detained

Ms. Wang Guofen was arrested at an unknown time. She is currently being held in a detention center and has begun a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

4. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Niu Yuge Tried

Mr. Niu Yuge was arrested by the plainclothes officers from the Gaoshan Town Police Station and the Xingyang City Domestic Security Division on August 13, 2025. He is currently being held in the Xingyang City Detention Center. He was tried by the Zhongyuan District Court of Zhengzhou City in late 2025, and is now awaiting the verdict.

5. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Shi Qing Detained; Ms. Hu Yanhua Missing

Ms. Shi Qing was arrested on March 18, 2026. She was placed under a 10-day administrative detention and scheduled to be released on March 28, 2026.

Ms. Hu Yanhua has been missing since January 2026. Her whereabouts remain unknown.

6. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Mengxiang and Ms. Zhu Arrested

Ms. Li Mengxiang and Ms. Zhu were arrested at Ms. Zhu’s home on March 24, 2026. The police ransacked both of their homes and confiscated their Falun Gong books and photos of Falun Gong’s founder, as well as over 1,000 yuan in cash from Ms. Zhu.

Ms. Zhu was released at around 11 p.m. that day. Ms. Li was taken to the Huanggang City Detention Center.

7. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Rui Arrested

Ms. Han Rui was arrested at home by Shengjing Police Station officers in March 2026. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, computer, and cell phone. She was released later that day but ordered to return to the police station the next day.
