(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shuzhen Arrested
8. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yuzhen and Ms. Wang Xiaofeng Detained

1. [Pingyuan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhu Lili Arrested

Ms. Zhu Lili was arrested by Longmen Police Station officers on the evening of April 23, 2026. Her home was ransacked.

2. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Lan Jingyun Detained

Ms. Lan Jingyun was arrested by several police officers on April 22, 2026. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated. She was taken to the Zhengzhou City Third Detention Center.

3. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Yujie and Ms. Li Xiujuan Arrested

Ms. Zhang Yujie and Ms. Li Xiujuan were arrested in the Yuanwankelong Supermarket on April 22, 2026, for using currency bills with information about Falun Gong printed on them.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhang Zhongming Arrested

Ms. Zhang Zhongming, 78, was arrested at home in mid-April 2026. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Dong Baiquan Detained

Mr. Dong Baiquan was arrested at home on April 21, 2026. He was taken to the Yantai City Second Detention Center.

6. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Four Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

A dozen practitioners in Mengyin County were forced to attend a seven-day brainwashing session starting on April 9, 2026. The names of four practitioners have been confirmed: Ms. Dai Zixin, Ms. Wang Fengyun, Ms. Wang Mingfeng, and Ms. Cao Changxiang. Ms. Wang Mingfeng and Ms. Cao haven’t been released yet.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shuzhen Arrested

Ms. Wang Shuzhen was arrested at home by Chujia Police Station officers on April 17, 2026. Her home was ransacked.

8. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yuzhen and Ms. Wang Xiaofeng Detained

Ms. Wang Yuzhen, 73, and Ms. Wang Xiaofeng, 70, were arrested by Piaotun Police Station officers on March 31, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Fushun City Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Xiaofeng was released on bail on April 1, 2026, due to health issues. Ms. Wang Yuzhen was issued a formal arrest warrant and is still being detained.

9. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wan Mengying, Mr. Wei Yingxin, and Ms. Shi were arrested on April 20, 2026. Ms. Wan and Mr. Wei’s homes were ransacked by Tonghe Police Station officers. Mr. Wei was released on bail that day, Ms. Wan is still being detained, and Ms. Shi’s situation isn’t clear.

10. [Hunchun City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Held in Brainwashing Center

Several practitioners, including one surnamed Guo, were taken to a brainwashing center in Tumen City in early March 2026. Several of them were beaten.

11. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhao Lirong Detained

Ms. Zhao Lirong was arrested by Changtong Police Station officers on March 17, 2026, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, photo of Falun Gong’s founder, cell phone, media player and headphone. She was detained for 15 days.

12. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Yuyang Harassed

Ms. Li Yuyang, in her 70s, was harassed at home by over 10 officers on the morning of April 22, 2026. The police searched her, her caretaker, and a guest, who is also in her 70s.

The police confiscated some personal items from her guest and took photos of the three of them.

13. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiang Xiqiong Harassed

Ms. Xiang Xiqiong was harassed at home by four people from the community office on April 15, 2026. They took photos of her against her will.

14. [Beijing] Ms. Shi Xiaolan Harassed

Ms. Shi Xiaolan’s home was searched by police officers from the Miyun District on the afternoon of April 20, 2026. They threatened to arrest her if they found Falun Gong materials in her home.
