(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 11 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 18 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Li Yan was arrested on November 25, 2025, and has been held at the Yaojia Detention Center since then. She has been indicted and is now facing trial by the Ganjingzi District Court.
Ms. Liu Huixia was arrested at home on May 22, 2024, and has been held in the Baoji City Detention Center ever since. She has appeared in the Fengming Court twice and is still awaiting a verdict.
Due to the long term detention, she developed health problems, including high blood pressure and constipation. The court doesn’t let her family visit her, and they are deeply concerned about her health.
Ms. Yang Manqin has been detained over five months.
Ms. Wang Yangfeg was arrested at home on April 30, 2026, and is still being held in the Yaojia Detention Center.
Mr. Yin Shousquan and Yu were arrested by officers from the Songbei District Police Department on the evening of April 20, 2026.
Ms. Shi Yaqiong’s home was ransacked by five plainclothes officers on April 24, 2026. They confiscated a computer and a large amount of Falun Gong informational materials. She wasn’t in when they arrived. They waited for her for four hours and arrested her when she returned.
Ms. Liu Lanchun, 68, was arrested on April 24, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong. It is unknown where she is being detained.
Mr. Ye Baofu was arrested at home on April 16, 2026. His home was ransacked. He was released on bail that evening.
Ms. Chi, first name unknown, was arrested at home by several officers from the Dahongmen Police Station on April 24, 2026, after she was recorded by surveillance cameras putting up posters about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked, and her printer and computer were confiscated. She was detained at the Fengtai Lockup and released the next day.
Ms. Huang Yunyun, around 70 and retired from Hongshan Flour Mill, and Ms. Li Yanyun, in her 80s and a retired nurse, have been missing since mid-April 2026.
Ms. Maio Ji’e and Ms. Su Xueyun were arrested on April 21, 2026, by officers from the Dazeshan Police Station and the Guozhuang Police Station, respectively. Their homes were ransacked. They were detained at the Pudong Detention Center in Jimo City and have been released on bail.
Ms. Dai Jingjing was arrested on April 29, 2026, by Keyuan Police Station officers for putting up posters about Falun Gong in public. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to a detention center the next afternoon.
Ms. Zhuang Yingchuan was arrested at home by Fushan Police Station officers on April 24, 2026. They cut off the power to her home and broke in when she came out to see what was wrong. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and a laptop. She was taken to the police station and released later that day.
Liu was arrested on January 9, 2026, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in a residential building. Liu was released the next day due to health problem and placed under residential surveillance. The Xingye Police Station officers and local community staff members harassed and took photos of Liu on April 22, 2026.
Mr. Cong Wei, 54, was sentenced to 4.5 years by the Ganjingzi District Court on October 12, 2024. He was admitted to the Dalian City Prison on March 25, 2025. During the required physical exam for prison admission, he was found to have severe high blood pressure and diabetes. Yet he was still admitted and is now being held in the Third Division for the infirm and elderly.
Mr. Cong’s wife went to visit him in March and April 2026, but she was turned away both times. The guards blamed Mr. Cong for not pleading guilty to practicing Falun Gong.
