(Minghui.org) During the last weekend of April 2026, the sun shone brightly in Regensburg, Germany, and the weather was fair and pleasant. Falun Dafa practitioners from the city and the surrounding areas gathered at Neupfarrerplatz in the city center to distribute flyers, demonstrate the exercises, and tell people about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s persecution of Falun Gong. Practitioners also called upon people to come together to end the persecution.

Regensburg is a famous historic city in the east of Bavaria, Germany. Located at the confluence of the Danube and Regen rivers, it is the capital of the Upper Palatinate administrative region. Due to its long history and unique architecture, Regensburg was designated as a World Cultural Heritage site in 2006.

Many passersby saw the banner about the CCP’s state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting and paused to listen attentively as practitioners explained the situation further. Many people said that this was their first time hearing about the persecution. After understanding the truth about the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, people were shocked and signed the petition to stop the atrocities.

A gentleman, who was walking his dog, wanted to donate some money after signing the petition, but a practitioner told him Falun Dafa practitioners are trying hard to end the persecution but do not accept donations. They just hope to garner more moral support. He then took some flyers and said that he would place them in his restaurant in the hope that more people would know the truth.

Another gentleman said that he had been to China three times, and the surveillance system was getting worse every time. He said that he and his wife no longer feel like visiting China. They also know about the CCP’s persecution of the Chinese people.

After the couple signed the petition to call for an end to the CCP’s forced organ harvesting, a practitioner suggested that the elderly man watch a Shen Yun performance to learn more about authentic Chinese culture. He also gave him a set of materials that exposes the CCP’s despicable acts of sabotaging Shen Yun performances overseas. The elderly man’s wife said that she had read a Falun Gong book before, and that the contents in the book are very good.

Another Regensburg man said this was his first time hearing about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s persecution of the practice. After signing the petition, he said that society today is all about money and power, leaving him feeling hopeless. However, the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance that Falun Dafa is based on are extremely valuable. He sat on a long bench near the booth and watched the practitioners’ exercise demonstration. This sparked his interest. He exchanged contact information with a local practitioner, and they agreed on a time and venue to teach him the exercises.

Many young people had also come to the city center to shop. When they passed by the Falun Dafa booth and heard about how the practice is being persecuted by the CCP, they signed the petition to voice their opposition to the persecution.
