3. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Xiping Released After Serving Three Years in Prison

1. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Lanzhi Detained

Ms. Zhang Lanzhi, 57, was arrested on April 25, 2026, after being reported for talking to some about Falun Gong at the restaurant where she worked. Her home was ransacked, and many Falun Gong books were confiscated. She is being held in the Pinggu Detention Center.

2. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Deng Liming Detained

Ms. Deng Liming was arrested at home on April 23, 2026, by about 20 plainclothes officers who ransacked her home. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, ID card, bank book, and cell phone. After being interrogated at the Huangji Police Station, she was taken to a local lockup for 10 days. She was then transferred to a detention center, where she remains.

3. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhao Xiping Released After Serving Three Years in Prison

Ms. Zhao Xiping was sentenced to three years in prison on November 8, 2023, by the Huangdao District Court. She served time in the Shandong Province Women’s Prison and was released on May 11, 2026.
