(Minghui.org) I began practicing Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) in 1998. Less than a year into my cultivation, the persecution began.

Although I had not been practicing for long, I firmly believed in Master and Dafa. Because Dafa had already taken root in my heart, no one could change my conviction. Walking well on the path of cultivation is not easy, however, but I am confident that as long as my mind is on the Fa, Master will help me.

I have a neighbor who works at a bank. At the end of each month, she has a target for savings deposits that she needs to meet. Because I ran my own business, she asked whether I could deposit some money into her bank temporarily whenever I did not need to purchase inventory.

Even though we talked whenever we met, I didn’t know her very well. One day, she asked me, “Sister, I have a savings target to meet this month. Can you help me by depositing some money in my bank”

My first thought was, “What if I need the money tomorrow to buy goods for my business?” But I then remembered that with everything I did, I should consider others first. Buying goods was for my own profit, which was selfish thinking.

As a Dafa cultivator, I realized, “If she fails to complete her target, her wages might be reduced.” So I decided to deposit all the cash I currently had in her bank to help her reach her target.

She was delighted, and thanked me. I told her that because my teacher asks us to always be kind to others, only by doing so can I be a genuine cultivator. She responded, “Dafa’s Master is so wonderful. I thank your Master!”

She continued, “I will learn Dafa later with you. I see how you are optimistic every day, with a healthy body, and making good money too, and your child is well-behaved and polite to everyone. All our neighbors said that after you started practicing Dafa, you changed for the better.

I was happy after hearing those words. At least I hadn’t done anything to damage Dafa’s reputation.

This neighbor used to play mahjong every night, and sometimes stayed up all night without going home, even though she still had to go to work the next day. Over time, she developed a gynecological disease, which later turned into cancer. Her family was very worried, and didn’t know what to do.

Her sister-in-law said to her, “Doesn’t our neighbor practice Falun Gong? I heard that Falun Gong can help heal illnesses.”

When her relatives told me that she had cancer, I asked, “Do you believe in Falun Gong?” They all said that they did.

One of them said, “We beg your Master to save her. Our family can’t live without her. We have seen that everyone who practices Falun Gong gets healthy bodies, and are very good to others. Let her practice Falun Gong as well. The doctor said hospital treatment cannot cure her now.”

This neighbor of mine liked reading Dafa books. I told her that as long as she genuinely believed in Dafa, and conducted herself according to the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, without pursuit of her illness being cured, then Master would be able to help. She understood.

Another practitioner and I studied the Fa together with my neighbor whenever we had time. Because her illness was quite serious, she couldn’t do the exercises, and she instead simply studied the Fa. Surprisingly, she improved day by day, from being unable to eat anything, to gradually being able to eat again. She and her family were very happy.

She said, “Master is purifying my body every day. Thank you, Master. Thank you, Dafa disciples. When I return to work, I must tell my colleagues that Dafa’s Master healed my incurable illness. It is truly amazing!”

There are many employees at the bank where she works, and they all knew that she had been diagnosed with an incurable illness. They also witnessed her recovery after she began practicing Falun Dafa.

When I went to her bank to make a deposit, some of her colleagues said, “Falun Dafa is good,” while others smiled in agreement.

I replied, “You should all remember ‘Falun Dafa is good,’ and you will be blessed.”

I also told them that Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese Communist Party leader, had harmed many people. One person responded, “We genuinely believe that Falun Dafa is here to save people. Your neighbor’s cancer was cured. It is truly amazing!”

One night when I went out to post some truth-clarification materials, I saw lots of people outside enjoying the cool evening air. My neighbor was among them. She came over and said, “Sister, what are you doing? I want to go with you.”

I replied, “I’m going to post truth-clarification materials. Do you dare to come with me?”

“I do,” she answered without hesitation.

I gave her some materials, and she started walking towards the post office. I noticed that the area was quite dark, and it looked as though someone was sitting there smoking.

I stopped her and suggested she not go in that direction. However, she replied, “It doesn’t matter, we are saving people.” She then posted some materials on a lamppost. Soon after, we had finished covering all the areas we planned to visit.

My neighbor had been saved by Master. This is the power of Dafa!
