(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in three cities in one province and one municipality, where at least six practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Xingchao and Mr. Liu Weihua Sentenced to Prison
2. [Beijing] Ms. Cui Li Detained
3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fu Zhengqiang and Mr. Wang Chenghao Held in Custody
4. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Xiuling Detained

1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Gao Xingchao and Mr. Liu Weihua Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Gao Xingchao, in his 40s, was recorded by surveillance camera on July 16, 2025, while talking to people about Falun Gong. Hudao Police Station officers arrested him. Mr. Liu Weihua, in his 60s, was also arrested later that day. Both men were taken to Pudong Detention Center. They were sentenced to prison earlier this year, with Mr. Gao being given 18 months and Mr. Liu four years.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Cui Li Detained

Ms. Cui Li was placed under 15 days of administrative detention around May 26, 2026. She was deceived into going to the police station and was arrested when she got there.

3. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Mr. Fu Zhengqiang and Mr. Wang Chenghao Held in Custody

Mr. Fu Zhengqiang, 79, and Mr. Wang Chenghao, 84, were arrested on April 24, 2026. They have been detained ever since.

4. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Xiuling Detained

Ms. Ma Xiuling was arrested by Weiwan Town Police Station officers on May 19, 2026, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong in Weiwan Town. Officers with the Kangzhuang Police Station and Domestic Security Office ransacked her home. She was detained for 10 days and has been released.
