(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Austria held the 24th Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference in Linz on June 13, 2026. Eighteen practitioners spoke about how they improved in their daily interactions and while coordinating with other practitioners to tell people about the persecution. They described how they discovered their attachments and handled tribulations. Many who attended the conference said they learned a great deal and understood why they needed to focus on studying the Fa. They also sensed the urgency to help people know about the brutal persecution in China.

Dorota has been practicing Falun Dafa since she was 12. In Spain on vacation, she wasn’t wearing a seat belt when she was involved in a serious traffic accident. She sent righteous thoughts and repeated “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” While she was in the hospital, she listened to Master’s lectures, which helped her endure the pain of a spinal brace.
The experience helped her rid of the attachment to comfort, and she realized that Master shouldered a tremendous amount of karma for her so she could continue to clarify the truth about the persecution to people.
Sonja said she always yearned for emotional security and a sense of belonging. Growing up in a broken family, she was fearful, tried to avoid conflict, and sought approval. Even though she practiced Falun Dafa for years, the tremendous pressure continued to weigh her down.
Her anxiety was stirred up after a family crisis that was compounded by stress at work and an exhausting relationship. Nonetheless, she felt Master’s care time and time again. One time her car broke down on a highway in the middle of the night, and someone helped her. She realized that true power comes from facing one’s pain instead of avoiding it. She found where she belongs—with Falun Dafa.
For seven years Lijun has called people in China to tell them about Falun Dafa. Wanting to make up for the time she wasted in the past, she wanted to validate herself and was initially worried about the outcome. By searching within, she let go of her attachments and learned how to talk to people with compassion and patience, including those who remained silent even though they knew about the persecution.
She later joined a project to clarify the truth to Chinese people outside of China. It was hard to find time and overcome technical issues, but she persisted and was able to help Chinese people understand the facts behind the persecution. She talked about the importance of keeping a pure heart while talking to Chinese tourists.
Matus has been a security guard at Shen Yun performances for years. His responsibilities include keeping people in the audience from taking photos during the performances and, more importantly, ensuring the safety of the performance and serving the audience.
During a 2026 performance in Vienna, Matus felt Master helped him conquer a psychological barrier and he was able to ask someone in the audience to delete the photos he took of Shen Yun on his phone. During a performance in Salzburg, he realized he paid too much attention to the appearance of an incident instead of its real significance. He was able to make the right choice between upholding principles and pandering to public perception. Even though he was sick during the 2026 performance in Prague, he prioritized fulfilling his responsibilities and quickly recovered.
Maria helped with Shen Yun customer service. When she had an issue with a customer, she realized it was Master’s arrangement. She listened to a practitioner’s suggestion and eventually resolved the issue.
Maria realized she’d developed an attachment to comfort, so she wanted to correct it by holding an event. She hosted a book club at the Literaturhaus. It was very successful, and she was interviewed by Austria Presse Agentur (APA). A local newspaper later reported on the event.
While she coordinated the team to communicate with local politicians, she rediscovered her attachment of pursuit. After each meeting, she sought ideas and guidance from others. After she saw the attachment that motivated this behavior, she was able to let it go. She knew that if her efforts weren’t acknowledged, she should still prioritize Falun Dafa and persevere.
After the conference, many practitioners said they understood the importance of coordinating with others and were determined to cultivate diligently.
