1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Du Jiqun Denied Medical Parole Despite Being Severely Ill in Prison

Ms. Du Jiqun, 65, was diagnosed with breast cancer, stroke, and persistent high blood pressure shortly after being jailed in February 2026 to serve a four-year prison term she was given ten years ago. Despite her condition, the authorities refused to release her on medical parole.

2. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Xianfang Taken to Prison

Ms. Meng Xianfang was admitted to the Liaoning Province Women’s Prison on April 20, 2026, to serve a 1.5-year term. She is currently held at Team Six in the Fourth Division. Her family is waiting for permission from the prison to deposit cash into her commissary account.

3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wu Junfeng and Ms. Li Guizhen Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Wu Junfeng was sentenced to four years and six months in prison by the Tianqiao District Court. Ms. Li Guizhen was sentenced to three years in prison by the Changqing District Court.

4. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Fan Wai Faces Trial

Mr. Fan Wei, 67, was arrested in August 2025 and held at Benxi City Detention Center. He was indicted by the Mingshan District Procuratorate and was scheduled to appear at the Mingshan District Court on May 29, 2026.

5. [Xingyang City, Henan Province] Ms. Su Yingying Detained

Ms. Su Yingying was released after 15 days of detention by the Jingcheng Road Police Station.

6. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Mr. Hou Shouyu Detained

Mr. Hou Shouyu was arrested at home by Linqing City Police Department officers at noon on May 7, 2026. He was released on May 21 after 14 days at Linqing City Lockup.

7. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Feng Tongxiu and Mr. Zhou Xinting Arrested

Ms. Feng Tongxiu and Mr. Zhou Xinting traveled to the Yudi farmers' market in Boye County to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong on May 13, 2026. They were arrested by staff members from Xifuluo Town Government after they found Falun Gong informational booklets in their backpacks.

Officers from Xifuluo Town Police Station and Jiacun Town Police Station broke into their homes and confiscated their Falun Gong books, and New Year’s paintings were seized.

Ms. Feng was released in the afternoon. Mr. Zhou was taken to the Anguo City Detention Center for seven days, and he was released on May 20.

8. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yaping Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Yaping was arrested on December 3, 2025. She appeared in the Hunnan District Court on April 22, 2026, and was sentenced to 10 months at an unknown time. She has appealed to the Shenyang City Intermediate Court.
