(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 24 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Guo Zhiping Tried

Ms. Guo Ziping was arrested on November 4, 2025, by officers from the Hepingli Police Station and the Lianchi District Police Department. She has been held at the Baoding City Detention Center since. She was indicted by the Gaoyang County Procuratorate on May 2, 2026, and she was scheduled to stand trial at the Gaoyang County Court on June 18, 2026.

2. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Bin and Ms. Zhang Guixiu Tried

Ms. Liu Bin and Ms. Zhang Guixiu were arrested on the evening of December 3, 2025, for talking to people about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked, and their Falun Gong books and photos of Falun Gong’s founder were confiscated. They were released the next day, but were arrested again on December 23, 2025. Ms. Liu was admitted to the Leshan City Detention Center, while Ms. Zhang was denied admission due to her medical condition and released. Both women were tried by the local court on June 15, 2026.

3. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xuan Yushi Facing Indictment

Ms. Xuan Yushi was arrested on the way to work on March 25, 2025, by officers from the Weihai City Economic and Technological Development District Police Department. The police revealed that they arrested her after receiving a tip that she put up posters exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s human rights abuses on March 1, 2025. They ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, laptop, and printer. She was later released on bail.

Ms. Xuan was summoned to the district procuratorate twice on March 30 and June 3, 2026. She received a call from the procuratorate on June 15, 2026, ordering her to appear for a deposition the next day.

4. [Wuji County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Ruichao Detained

Mr. Li Ruichao was arrested in Yichang City, Hubei Province, on June 6, 2026. He is currently held at the Yichang City Detention Center.

5. [Tianjin] Ms. Chen Fangjun Detained

Ms. Chen Fangjun, in her 60s, was arrested at her daughter’s home in Yangcun Town on June 1, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She is currently held at the Wuqing District Detention Center.

6. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Feng Yanjun Detained

Mr. Feng Yanjun was arrested on June 9, 2026, and admitted to the Xi’an City Detention Center on June 12, 2026. His family hired a lawyer for him. The lawyer went to the detention center on June 17, 2026, to visit him, but was denied. When the lawyer refused to leave, over ten guards forcibly removed him. The detention center even filed a complaint against the lawyer with his law firm.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Yingdong and His Wife Arrested

Mr. Wang Yingdong and his wife were arrested at home at noon on June 17, 2026, by officers from the Dongting Police Station and Fushan District Domestic Security Division. Their Falun Gong books were confiscated. The couple was taken to the police station for interrogation and then released on bail.

8. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Seven Practitioners Harassed

Seven practitioners were harassed between April and June 2026.

- The son of 86-year-old Ms. Zhang Ying was forced to provide her recent photo to the police.- Mr. Zhao Ximin, 80, was forced to provide saliva sample.- Ms. Wang Shifen, 75, owns a clinic. The police often harassed her and spent hours at her clinic.- Ms. Xu Xiuhui, 77, wasn’t only harassed herself, but her daughter was implicated as well.- Ms. Guo Yuzhen was harassed at home. The police took photos of her.- Ms. Yu Shuqing was harassed at home on June 10, 2026. She refused to be photographed.- Chen Yafan was also harassed in early June 2026.

9. [Jiayu County, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Arrested or Harassed

Two practitioners, including Yin Xianhe, were arrested on March 8, 2026.

Ms. Kong, in her 70s, was harassed at home on May 12, 2026. Ms. Zhang Xiaoxin was harassed on June 4, 2026, and another time not long after.

10. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chai and Ms. Zheng Missing

Ms. Chai, in her 70s, and Ms. Zheng, in her 40s, went missing around May 23, 2026. Their families suspected that they had been arrested.

11. [Kaiyuan City, Yunnan Province] Mr. Dai Penshun Arrested

Mr. Dai Penshun was arrested at home by four officers on June 18, 2026. His computer and cell phone were confiscated. The police interrogated him, but he refused to answer any questions. He was released in the afternoon.

12. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Ruiping Arrested

Ms. Wang Ruiping was arrested at home on May 30, 2026, for putting up Falun Gong posters. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to a detention center, but denied admission due to her medical condition. She was released on bail after posting a 1,000-yuan bond.
