(Minghui.org) The Pike County Independence Day parade was held in Milford Borough on July 4, 2026 to celebrate the nation’s 250th birthday. People lined the parade route despite the summer heat. Falun Dafa practitioners joined the about 70 groups in the parade. Their exercise demonstration and lotus flower dance team received a warm welcome. People took video recordings, photos, or waved and greeted practitioners. Several young people even followed practitioners in doing the exercises.

Nicholas Mazza, President of the Blooming Grove Township Board of Supervisors, said, “Today is a special day for all Americans, this is not just a festival for a group of people.”

Practitioners wearing yellow T-shirts demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises in the parade, and they were the largest group.

Practitioners’ lotus flower dance team participated in the Pike County Independence Day parade.

Some people praised practitioners and said they were, “Very peaceful!” “Wow! The bright yellow attire looks great! I love it!” People on both sides of the road waved at the group enthusiastically. Many even bowed to express their respect.

After the parade, a practitioner met a family of four. The father smiled and nodded when he saw the practitioner wearing a yellow T-shirt. The practitioner asked, “Did you see the parade?” The man smiled and replied, “Yes, your exercise demonstration is truly amazing!” When the practitioner asked if he heard of Falun Dafa before, the man shook his head. The practitioner then explained what Falun Dafa is and gave them a lotus flower which had information about Falun Dafa. The father thanked her sincerely and the practitioner wished the family all the best.

While walking back to the car park, several cars were lined up waiting to leave. A driver stopped his car when he saw practitioners, rolled down his window and shouted to practitioners: “Your exercise demonstration was fantastic!”
