(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Mr. Zhang Junjia’s trial was rescheduled from July 3 to July 13, 2026.
Ms. Hu Pinfang, 70, has been held in the Yueyang City Second Detention Center, since she was arrested on June 2, 2026. She is now facing trial in the Pingjiang County Court.
Mr. Wang Jinbo has been held in the Wanbailin Detention Center since his arrest on February 21, 2026. He was tried on July 2, 2026.
Ms. Gu Hewen, Ms. Chen, and six others were arrested in the middle of the night on May 8, 2026. Four of them were given administrative detention and have been released. Ms. Gu, Ms. Chen, and two others are still being held at the Zhenjiang City Detention Center.
Ms. Wu Juan was arrested at home on February 4, 2026, by captain Zhang Bin and other officers from the Shan County Domestic Security Division. They ransacked her home and seized computers, printers, Falun Gong books, and over 500 paper currency bills with Falun Gong messages printed on them. They asked her where she got the printers.
Ms. Wu is being held at the Heze City Detention Center. Her case has been submitted to the local procuratorate.
Mr. Zheng Shuangxi has been missing since June 6, 2026.
Ms. Dong Guizhi, in her 70s, was arrested around August 19, 2022, by officers from the Baquan Police Station. She was later sentenced to three years and nine months. She was released from the Wuhan Women’s Prison on May 20, 2026.
Ms. Bi Zhonmei was arrested on June 28, 2026, by director Guo Zhipeng and officer Li Haoran from the Hutian Police Station. She was interrogated for eight hours.
Ms. Ji Sufeng was arrested on June 10, 2026, and her home was ransacked. She was detained for ten days and released on June 20. The police harassed her after that and ordered her to sign a document. She refused to comply.
