(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Dong’e County, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Bing Tried in Court

Ms. Ma Bing, in her 30s, was arrested at home in February 2026 for possessing Falun Gong books. She has been detained since. She appeared in the Dong’e County Court on June 30, 2026, and a second hearing was scheduled for July 7.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Dongyun Facing Trial

Ms. Liu Dongyun was arrested in Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, on March 18, 2026. She was arrested in Hangzhou City after being found to carry paper bills printed with Falun Gong facts. She has been indicted and is now facing trial in Hangzhou.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Qingfang Arrested

Ms. Meng Qingfang was arrested on July 3, 2026. Her family was informed of her arrest hours later. Her husband is incapacitated due to cerebral thrombosis. Their daughter, who works in another city, had to take off from work to care for her father.

4. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Du Dacun Arrested

Mr. Du Dacun was arrested on July 2, 2026, by officers from the Binbei Police Station and the Bincheng District Domestic Security Division.

5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Guixiang Facing Indictment

Ms. Li Guixiang, 74, was arrested at home by officers from the Nanguan District Domestic Security Division on May 13, 2026. She is currently held at the Changchun City Second Detention Center. The police are preparing to submit her case to the local procuratorate.

6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Fengqin Detained

Ms. Gao Fengqin was arrested by Baojian Road Police Station officers on July 1, 2026, while distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was placed under criminal detention on July 3 and is currently held at the Harbin City Detention Center.

7. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Guiqin Detained

Ms. Wang Guiqin, 71, was arrested at home on August 28, 2025, and later released on bail due to her health condition. She was taken to the Changchun City Fourth Detention Center on June 6, 2026, and has been detained there since.

8. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Six practitioners were arrested at home on July 3, 2026. Ms. Li Lianyi, Ms. Zuo Yeyun, Mr. Luo Heng, and Zhao, first name and gender unknown, were released in the afternoon. Ms. Shang Xiuzhen was released around 3 a.m. the next day. Qi Manying’s situation is unknown.

9. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Lanping Detained

Ms. Liu Lanping was arrested by Lianmeng Road Police Station officers on June 16, 2026, for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was interrogated and then taken to the local lockup. While she was denied admission due to her health condition initially, the police managed to have her admitted days later for a five-day detention.

10. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Shao Hong Detained

Ms. Shao Hong was arrested in late June 2026 at home. Her home was ransacked, and the Falun Gong books were confiscated. She was detained for 11 days.

11. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Nan Minmin Released After Serving a 5.5-Year Term

Mr. Nan Minmin was arrested by Sungang Police Station officers on May 29, 2020, and later sentenced to five and a half years in prison. He was recently released.

12. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wei Jiangmei Arrested

Ms. Wei Jiangmei was arrested at home on June 25, 2026. The police confiscated the Falun Gong books, informational materials about Falun Gong, and the paper bills printed with Falun Gong facts. She was interrogated and taken to a detention center. She was denied admission due to her health condition and was released around midnight.

13. [Jing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Suqin Arrested

Ms. Wang Suqin was arrested on May 11, 2026, while talking to people about Falun Gong at a market. She was taken to the police department for interrogation and released shortly after.

14. [Longde County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Du Aiping Harassed

Ms. Du Aiping was arrested, and her home was ransacked on November 2, 2025. She was detained for 15 days. The police continued to harass her after she was released.
