Ms. Zhao Jinrui was arrested at home around July 2, 2026 by Qingyun County Police Department officers. Her 12-year-old son was also taken away at the same time.
Mr. Chen Di was released from the Fanjiatai Prison on July 6, 2026, after completing a seven-year prison term.
Ms. Wu Jinmei was sentenced to six months in prison, after she was arrested at home on June 19, 2023 by officers from the Chengbei Police Station.
Mr. Mao Qingxue, 48, was harassed by officer Wei Menghan of the Zhongyun Police Station during the 2026 Chinese New Year. When Mr. Mao refused to answer, Wei harassed his adult daughter and teenage son.
Ms. Liu Jianyu, 65, was harassed by three officers from the Tiancun Police Station and two community clerks on May 29, 2026. They accused her of distributing Falun Gong flyers and ordered her to go to the police station with them. When she refused, they grabbed her by the arms and dragged her away. She strongly resisted and sat on the ground. They left 10 minutes later.
Officers from the Chucun Police Station ransacked Ms. Liu’s other residence that night, confiscating a set of Falun Gong books and a picture of the founder of Falun Gong.
On June 5, the police fined Ms. Liu 7,000 yuan and ordered her to pay 30,000 yuan bail bond. Due to immense pressure, her husband paid the fine.
Xia, gender and first name unknown, was harassed at home around June 23, 2026, by three officers from the Tongxin Police Station. They ordered Xia to sign a statement to renounce Falun Gong. Xia refused to comply.
Ms. He Shuqiong was harassed at home on June 9, 2026, by around 20 people. They searched the place and seized some Falun Gong printouts. One officer threatened to check on her every week from then on.
