(Minghui.org) People strolling the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, on June 28, 2026, might have seen Falun Dafa practitioners introducing the spiritual practice and raising awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

The Jersey Shore, with its beaches and lively coastal towns, is an iconic summer destination. Seaside Heights, which is over a hundred years old, stands out for its famous 2.5-mile boardwalk. Packed with clubs, bars, shops, restaurants, arcades, and other attractions, the boardwalk buzzes with activity in the summer.

Practitioners have introduced Falun Dafa on the boardwalk for years. After local government officials learned what Falun Dafa is, they allowed practitioners to hold their activities on the boardwalk.

Practitioners demonstrated the exercises on one of busiest sections of the boardwalk. Their music encouraged many people to stop and learn about Falun Dafa and the CCP’s human rights abuses.

Larry Hurley asked about Falun Dafa and said he agreed with the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. He wanted to know more about the CCP’s persecution and supported the practitioners’ efforts to stop the brutality.

A group of teachers and students from a private high school in Texas were in New Jersey to participate in faith-based summer activities. They talked with practitioners and learned about Falun Dafa. Some of them tried the exercises.
