By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Liaoning Province, China　(Minghui.org) I am over 80 years old and live alone. I’d like to tell you about my experiences regarding the importance of sending righteous thoughts and cultivating myself.

My daughter works in a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) affiliated work unit. Tempted by fame and fortune, she became a loyal CCP member and promoted it everywhere to deceive people and spread atheism.

Seeing her deeply poisoned by the CCP’s lies, I became anxious. I tried every means I could think of to clarify the truth to her. She would not listen and even worse, she turned against me. She ignored me, refused to look at me, and stopped talking to me. I was fearful and worried about her going down with the Party when it’s held accountable for it’s crimes.

My emotional attachment for my daughter entrapped me and I constantly worried about her. I couldn’t concentrate when I read the Fa, couldn’t focus when I sent righteous thoughts, and I couldn’t calm my mind when I did the exercises. My hair turned grey. My eyesight and hearing deteriorated, and my back became bent. The neighbors all commented, wondering how such a capable old lady, who used to ride her bike everywhere, could have aged so quickly!

Seeing my situation, compassionate Master sent a fellow practitioner to help me. We discussed our cultivation experiences and the practitioner said sincerely, “You should let go of your attachment to your children! Send righteous thoughts longer and more often.” She advised me not to just focus on cultivation.

The practitioner’s advice helped me realize that I was trapped in sentimentality! I calmed my mind and started sending righteous thoughts. Soon, miracles started happening.

Once, while I was sending righteous thought, I saw bundles of black oily paper-like things in front of me. I thought, “What should I do to this big pile of black things? They are heavy and I can’t move them. It would be wonderful if they could be burned into ashes!” As soon as I had this thought, those things disappeared. I knew Master dissolved them. It was miraculous! Thank you, Master!

I kept on sending righteous thoughts. Then I saw a pile of messy things floating down a river, and a person who looked like my daughter appeared, sitting in a cave-like space with brick walls around her. As I continued sending righteous thoughts, the walls disappeared—only the seat remained.

A few days later, while sending righteous thoughts, I saw that the seat had also disappeared, and the person stood up!

After some time, I saw that a thick layer of things that looked like dead skin being scrubbed off my daughter’s body. I believe those things had been indoctrinated into her by the CCP. At last, the surrounding environment was cleansed and my daughter’s body was purified.

When I saw my daughter recently, she was wearing a white dress and carrying a package. She said, “Mom, where can I get rid of this?”

I said, “Throw it into the ocean.” And so she threw the package away.

My daughter decided to come home for vacation (she works in a different city). She bought me some expensive clothes for different seasons and phoned me.

When she spoke, her voice was warm, unlike her previous cold, harsh tone. She said, “Mom, I will be home this afternoon.”

I thought she was coming to talk about the CCP again, so I said, “Anything else?”

She said, “No, nothing. I want to spend time with you during my vacation and then I want you to come and live with me at my place. I’ll cook for you and take care of you. You can do whatever you want.” (She was referring to me telling people the facts about Falun Dafa).

I told her that I was fine living alone and I didn’t want to trouble her.

Before she returned home, my daughter bowed three times in front of Master’s portrait. I saw her eyes redden and there were tears running down her cheeks—tears of joy! She had awakened! Thank you, Master, for your compassionate salvation!

I want to tell others that a Dafa practitioner’s righteous thoughts are effective and powerful, and to please persistently send righteous thoughts when you have difficulty clarifying the truth to family members or other people. Our righteous thoughts have immense power!
