1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Cheng Yurong Sentenced to Three Years and Two Months in Prison

Ms. Cheng Yurong, 77, was sentenced to three years and two months in prison and fined 20,000 yuan on March 31, 2026. Her appeal was denied by the Dalian City Intermediate Court. She was admitted to the Liaoning Province Second Women’s Prison in Shenyang City on July 24, 2026.

2. [Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Liang Tulan Detained

Ms. Liang Tulan was videotaped while mailing letters with information about Falun Gong. She was arrested by Longcheng Police Station officers on May 21, 2026. Although she was released after 15 days at the Taiyuan City Lockup, she was arrested again on July 23 and taken to the Gujiao City Detention Center.

3. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Tian Xia Arrested

Ms. Tian Xia was arrested around July 24, 2026.

4. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zeng Lingqiong Facing Trial

Ms. Zeng Lingqiong was indicted and her case now rests with a local court.

5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lou Amei Detained

Ms. Lou Amei, 79, was arrested at an unknown time. She is currently held at the Shenyang City First Detention Center.

6. [Jize County, Hebei Province] Ms. An Lijing Harassed

Ms. An Lijing was recently harassed by police twice. She was forced to live away from home to avoid further persecution. The police installed surveillance cameras outside her home.

7. [Beijing] Kong Jie Missing

Kong Jie, gender unknown, has been missing since January 2026.

8. [Jingzhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhao Kunli Released from Prison

Ms. Zhao Kunli was released from prison in July 2026 after serving a three-year term.

9. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Mr. Jin Shiming Held in a Brainwashing Session

Mr. Jin Shiming was held at a brainwashing session from July 28 to 30, 2026, by Wang Chunyong and Zhu Bin from the Shengli Oilfield 610 Office. He refused to write statements to renounce Falun Gong.
