(Minghui.org) One day in the summer of 2024, I read an article on Minghui calling for fellow practitioners to help clarify the truth to Chinese tourists visiting Jeju Island in South Korea.
A simple thought crossed my mind—maybe I’ll go there during my next vacation. I mentioned the idea to the coordinators at a practitioners’ experience sharing conference that fall, and asked about the application procedure. Then I didn’t think about it again.
During the Chinese New Year in 2025, I planned to vacation in Taiwan at the end of January. I met a fellow practitioner there and during our conversation, she mentioned, “If you are willing and can make time for it, you should apply to go to Jeju Island to help with truth clarification.”
Suddenly, I remembered my wish the previous year. Her words were like a switch being flipped as everything fell into place for my next trip.
Looking back, I realized that it must have been Master’s arrangement to fulfill this wish. What amazed me was that even though I had forgotten all about it, Master reminded me through a fellow practitioner.
Master said in Zhuan Falun,
“These things are arranged by the master and performed by the master. Therefore, it is said that cultivation depends on one’s own efforts, while transforming gong is done by one’s master. You can only have such a wish and think about it like that, but it is the master who actually does these things.” (Lecture Two)
On February 11, 2025, I arrived on Jeju Island. After checking in, a fellow practitioner told me there was a group practice session at 3 a.m. I was overjoyed because I had always dreamed of getting up at 3 a.m. to do the exercises, let alone as part of a group. I never imagined I would find myself in such a good cultivation environment. Even now when I think about it, it still feels like a dream—a truly wonderful memory.
I was assigned to a duty-free store to clarify the truth to tourists during the day. My daily routine was simple. I would get up early and join the group exercises from 4 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. Then after sending forth righteous thoughts, I would read Zhuan Falun. Next we would read Master’s supplementary lectures for one hour. Afterwards, I would go back to where I was staying, change, and prepare for my shift at the tourist site.
Those days were truly happy and fulfilling. Every day, I felt enriched by the Fa as I worked together with fellow practitioners, diligently advanced in cultivation, and helped Master to save sentient beings.
Every morning on my way from the practice site back to where I stayed, I would recite “On Dafa” (Lun Yu). I also tried to make the most of my time by memorizing the Fa for an hour. I could clearly feel that this helped make my truth clarification more powerful.
During that time, I experienced a strong sensation through my third eye, as if I had broken through to a new level. I could not see other dimensions, but I could truly feel a vibration coming from a deep dimension and a profound level. It was as though my mind had suddenly become blank, while my head buzzed slightly. I had entered an elevated state that lasted nearly an hour.
That day, I felt that it was not I who was going out to clarify the truth; rather, it was sentient beings who were seeking the truth and coming to me. Moreover, I barely had to say anything before they agreed to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
A month later, at the end of March, I went to Jeju Island again. My ability to clarify the truth about Dafa and the persecution face-to-face took a giant leap forward around that time.
Master arranged for a fellow practitioner with many years of experience in truth clarification to share her insights with me.
She mentioned that Master said in Hong Yin,
“...Open your mind and find the followers of Dafato discover the truth they holdOnly these kings-to-come offer passage to Heaven” (“Revealing the Mysteries,” Hong Yin V)
So first we help to open people’s hearts through sharing joy and happiness. Then they will understand the truth.
I agreed with her and began trying a different approach to clarifying the facts. First, I would wish them a pleasant journey, safety and good health. Then I would offer them a pseudonym and encourage them to quit the CCP. If the person had time to listen some more, I would explain why they should quit by exposing the CCP’s history of mass murder and its evil nature. I would talk about the persecution of Falun Dafa, and finally tell them to remember “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
Master said,
“Sometimes as you try to clarify the facts to people, they won’t hear a word of it. Yet it’s not the person himself that’s tuning you out, but the communist evil specter, which has affixed itself to the person’s body and is standing in for him. That can happen because the specter of communism has power over the person, and his life is at its command. But our Dafa disciples have great wisdom, and have gradually come to realize how things work. They get people to withdraw from the Party first. They start by explaining how awful it is, what wicked things it has done, and how it is inherently evil. And then they encourage people to withdraw from it. After agreeing to do so, these people no longer resist the facts that you tell them [about Falun Gong].” (“2018 Fa Teaching Given in Washington, D.C.” in Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XV)
With this new approach, I persuaded more than 20 people to withdraw from the Party within just two hours. That was something I could never have imagined before. Divine beings and Buddhas are compassionate; everything is arranged as it should be.
One day I went to a pier to clarify the facts about Dafa and the persecution. I saw a tour guide preventing people from accepting the truth-clarification newspapers. I remembered Master’s words in Hong Yin II, “Righteous thought can save people of the world” (“Fa Rectifies the Cosmos”). This helped strengthen my righteous thoughts.
I stood there holding up a banner with my fellow practitioners while sending forth righteous thoughts toward the tour guide to eliminate all the evil factors controlling him and to prevent him from blocking sentient beings from being saved. I could feel a strong energy during this time. After about 10 minutes of sending righteous thoughts, the tour guide was nowhere to be seen, and people could freely receive the newspapers again.
The third time I went to Jeju Island was at the end of May. I was assigned different tasks on each trip. This time, I was sent to a tour site called Longtouyan.
When the tour buses arrived, they were packed with tourists. I stood on the path they had to take, facing the crowds, and held up a small display board that read “Quit the CPP to save your life. Over 400 million Chinese have already quit.”
Sometimes I recited Master’s verse from Hong Yin II:
“...Who knows how many compassion rescues and savesEverywhere in the Central Plains, more new graves” (“Washing Away”)
Standing behind the display board, my eyes welled up with tears. I sensed my entire body become enveloped by the immense energy of compassion, and I truly felt it.
In the evening, I also went to the airport with fellow practitioners to hand out truth-clarification materials. With a smile and the utmost compassion and goodwill, I would say, “Welcome to South Korea” and then hand each person a copy of the informational materials. At the same time I sent forth righteous thoughts.
Often, by the time most of the flights had arrived, we had distributed almost all of our materials. We would then return home before midnight.
I truly felt that I had found my life’s purpose. This is exactly why we came here—to follow our Master into this mundane world to awaken sentient beings and save them.
We devote the greatest portion of our life to cultivating ourselves and fulfilling our mission. We do not waste our time, we do not live in vain, and we do not disappoint our Master’s expectations or those of sentient beings. Every day is lived with sacredness and solemnity.
No matter what challenges we face, we must simply do what we are supposed to do to live up to the mission of being a Dafa practitioner. We must do our best, cultivate ourselves well, and thoroughly deny the old force’s arrangements.
I am writing down these reflections to preserve these precious memories.
