On December 30, we Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore tried to deliver a letter to the Chinese Embassy to express our concern over the injustice against Li Chang, Wang Zhiwen, Ji Liewu, and Yaojie, as well as other arrested contact people in China. We also expressed our hope that the Chinese government could open a dialogue with Falun Gong to solve the current crisis.
But the guard told us that the ambassador was absent. After the guard contacted the officials working for the Embassy, he told us that we could contact a consulate. However, after we negotiated with the consulate for ten minutes, we got the answer that he did not have time and could not accept the letter.
In the end, we left the letter in the mailbox outside the Embassy. Several journalists covered the whole process.
