[Beijing] Dajiyuan Times - December 14, 2000 - To crackdown on Falun Gong, Beijing Public Security Bureau Hires criminals to beat People at Tiananmen Square
A resident in the Tongzhou County of Beijing visited the downtown area early this October with his 11-year-old son . While they were watching the evildoers (they cannot be called China's Security now) cruelly beating Falun Gong practitioners at Tiananmen Square, the son immediately recognized one of the evildoers was previously their neighbor. However, this neighbor was jailed a few years ago due to the crimes of rape and larceny. The resident was astonished when he was told by his son, and hurried back to Tiananmen Square with his son. By observing carefully, from a distance, they confirmed that this particular evildoer was indeed that criminal.
According to the intelligence from Beijing, the Beijing City Public Security Bureau indeed makes use of a lot of prisoners who are still serving sentences to crackdown on the demonstrations and protests of Falun Gong people. One of the reasons this is done is due to the shortage of their human resources in this area, and the other reason is that only the criminals are thought to be the most suitable personnel to crackdown on these peaceful activities of people at Tiananmen Square.
