The inauguration ceremony for Friends of Falun Dafa was held at the Castellorizian Club of Kingsford District at 7:00 p.m. on November 29th.
People from all walks of life, including lawyers, accountants, entrepreneurs, writers, members of legislative assemblies, Radio station directors, reporters from China and foreign countries and community leaders, etc., who support the Falun Dafa practitioners' rights of belief attended the inauguration ceremony.
Mr. Huang Zhuoran, an entrepreneur, gave a speech to more than one hundred attendants at the beginning of the ceremony. Mr. Huang said, "The purpose of this association is to provide opportunities for people who still don't understand Falun Gong well to learn more about it through communication; bring all righteous and kindhearted people together; and gain more active support from the Australian people." Mr. Huang also said, "Falun Dafa belongs to the whole world. Dictator Jiang Zemin's brutal persecution against Falun Gong is not only a violation of the human rights of Chinese people, but also a threat to the peace and justice of the whole world. People of all countries should unite to stop dictator Jiang's perverse acts and bring peace to the world. Human rights, conscience, justice and peace are the common courses of all of humankind."
A slide presentation, "Falun Gong the Real Story", was shown after Mr. Huang's speech. The anchor of the ceremony narrated the slides in English for the audience.
The conference came to an end with a dinner party.
