On the afternoon of Feb. 9, dozens of Falun Gong practitioners went to the Chinese Embassy to protest the Chinese police' large scale arrests and beatings against Falun Gong practitioners on the Tiananmen Square on the Lunar New Year's Eve.
Wang Ze, a journalist from Voice of America, reported that Falun Gong practitioners tried to deliver an appealing letter to the Chinese government to urge the Chinese government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and to have a dialogue with the founder of Falun Gong, Mr. Li Hongzhi.
However, the Chinese Embassy closed the door. The staff members refused to open the door for practitioners and also said that the appealing letter would not be accepted.
