Recently, a person named Wang Hui-zhong has infiltrated into Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing. He claimed that he was entrusted by some overseas contact people of Falun Gong. [Beijing] The Regime Does Not Want Its People Know about Its Human Rights Violations
Although the persecutions against Falun Gong practitioners have been escalating constantly, many Chinese people knew nothing about this fact because the state-controlled propaganda machines do not report any cases of persecutions.
For example, last week, a practitioner took a taxi. The driver asked what was happening in the UN human rights meeting and why the Chinese government was reacting so strongly. This practitioner told him what Ms. Albright said and the fact that a Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen Zi-xiu was beaten to death just because she refused to give up her belief. The driver said that he knew nothing about this, and he felt indignant that the Chinese media does not give objective reports.
[Beijing]

At around 6:30am, the police officers took all of them to the police station and interrogated them. They were not allowed any food for a whole day. At night, they were required to write a pledge that they would give up Falun Gong. Otherwise, they would not be freed. None of them agreed to write the pledge.
4 of them were picked up at around 8pm, except practitioner Ms. Guo Jun, 30 years old, who got detained afterwards for 30 days because the police officers found her carrying some experience-sharing articles downloaded from the Internet. Her home was also ransacked.

Her son, Zhuo Po, was threatened that he would be dismissed from school because he intended to appeal to the petition office.
Practitioner Mr. Sun Tian-tong, also from the Er-li-zhuang sub-district of Beijing, got detained for 26 days after he appealed. During his detention, his home was ransacked and his mother was interrogated. The police officers confiscated the hard disk of practitioner Sun's PC because they suspected that some experience sharing articles from Beijing conference were stored there.
Some practitioners living in the Fu-cheng-meng of Beijing said that they had been under home arrest during the "Two sessions".
[Si-chuan Province]

23 practitioners are serving the forced-labor "education" in the Da-yan Labor Camp of Zhi-yang City because they had gone to appeal for Falun Gong. Once they were hung up for three days without food and sleep because they attempted to practice Falun Gong exercises. They said that they would never give up Falun Gong no matter how they were mistreated. The director had to give in and detained them separately.
[China] The Ministry of Security set up a new rule recently: all Falun Gong practitioners with PCs must register, especially those who could get on the Internet.
