These photos were taken on December 23, 2000 at Tiananmen Square when several groups of Falun Dafa practitioners courageously unfurled Falun Gong banners to appeal against the 18-month-long crackdown. The photos also showed a plain-cloth police rushing towards an elderly practitioner to arrest her.
