On September 28, upon hearing that several practitioners from Seattle walked for 35 days and arrived at Northern California, several council members from City of San Jose and County of Santa Clara immediately arranged to meet with the walkers, to express support and admiration for their extraordinary courage. Practitioners also expressed gratitude for their support.
