[Baoding, Hebei Province] Beijing Practitioner Liu Yongwang on Hunger and Water Strike Over 50 Days
On September 14, 2001, Shanghai policemen illegally kidnapped practitioners from Beijing, Liu Yongwang and his wife Qi Suying . On October 15, they were transferred to Baoding, Hebei province. They are still detained in Baoding City Detention Center. Their 2-year-old daughter was sent to their hometown in the countryside to be taken care of by the elderly grandparents.
Practitioner Liu Yongwang, male, 29 years old, who graduated from Tianjin University, went on hunger strike (without water) to protest the evil suppression. As of November 9, 56 days have passed and he is in critical condition.
Practitioner Qi Suying, female, 29 years old, a teacher of Baoding Normal College, has also been on a hunger strike to protest her illegal detention for 30 days.

Hebei practitioner Mi Wenlian, female 36 years old, was kidnapped in Qianxi District Shijiazhuang City while distributing truth-clarifying materials on August 25, 2001. We have no information about her since then. Her husband (a practitioner) had been illegally sent to do forced labor already. They have two children. The daughter is in middle school, and the son is in elementary school. No one is taking care of the children. Kindhearted people please be aware of this.

Practitioner Wen Jianmin, a former Judge of Mid-level People's Court of Shanwei City Guangdong Province, was arrested on September 13, 2001, while posting truth-clarifying flyers. He was first detained in Haifeng Watch House, then Haifeng Detention Center and later sent to brainwashing class for forced-brainwashing inside the Lufeng Piyang Drug Rehabilitation Center.
