SUBJECT: SUPPORT FOR FALUN GONG PRACTITIONERS
At the Regular Council Meeting held on November 13, 2001 the Council passed the following resolution:
"THAT a letter to Prime Minister Chretien and the Chinese Embassy in Ottawa be drafted and sent expressing the District of Hope's concern regarding the persecution currently being inflicted on Falun Gong practitioners in China."
The District of Hope supports Falun Dafa in their efforts to try to put an end to the persecution currently taking place in China and condemns the harsh, brutal and repressive tactics of the Chinese Government against Falun Gong practitioners.
