Leng Tao began to practice Falun Dafa in1995. After he came back from safe- guarding Dafa in Beijing on Oct 1999, police arrested him in Markang. Police forced him to write a repentance letter. He didn't co-operate with them. He insisted on practicing the Falun Gong exercises. He was jailed for 11 months.
On Dec 29, 2000, he, his wife and 8 year-old daughter went to Tiananmen Square to clarify the truth. They returned home safely. Unfortunately, while under coercive interrogation a fellow practitioner told them that it was Leng Tao who gave her a "Falun Dafa is Good" signboard and a bottle of spray paint. Authorities from Aba State and Wenchuan County then arrested Leng Tao. Police claimed that Leng Tao painted over 300 statements about Falun Dafa along Maxi Street, up to Wenchuan street, a distance of 80 kilometers. This had a far-reaching effect and had been reported to the Central Communist Party in Beijing. It was treated as a federal case. A special case group was formed by the National Security Bureau, the Province Security Bureau and the State Security Bureau, as well as Wenchuan County and Mao County police. Leng Tao was transferred from Markang to Mao County Prison. He was interrogated day and night. They handcuffed and shackled him. He was beaten and kicked. After several months of interrogation and brutal torture, the police didn't get one word from Leng Tao. He was jailed with other inmates. The police encouraged the criminal inmates to persecute him. The inmates rode on his head and urinated on him. They use a toothbrush to rub his penis raw. Also they beat him inhumanly. One night, police from the State Security Bureau, Wenchuan County and Mao County took Leng Tao to a private room, planning to interrogate and torture him. Leng Tao sat still. The room was dark because no light had been turned on. Yet there was light shining in the room, the tremendous light of the mighty power of the Buddha Fa. The police had no idea where the light was coming from. They were so frightened that they ran away one by one. For over a month after, no one dared to interrogate Leng Tao. Taking advantage of the first chance that presented itself, Leng Tao walked out of the prison and returned home. He was arrested again soon after and is now jailed in Taiyangdao Prison, Wenchuan County. He remains firm in his practice of Falun Dafa.

She was not allowed to go out and often summoned for interrogation without reason, creating all kinds of difficulties for her. In July 2001, the police illegally sent her to Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp in Zizhong County for one and a half years. No one is left at home to take care of her 80 year-old mother and 8 year-old daughter.
Even more upsetting was that the Wenchuan police imprisoned her eight year-old daughter. They fiercely interrogated her many times, however, the little, yet wise, practitioner never gave in to them.
She has practiced Falun Dafa since 1996 and has gone to Beijing three times to validate Dafa, for which she was imprisoned three times. At the end of December 2000, she displayed a banner in Tiananmen Square and was detained. The Security Bureau Police took her back to Wenchuan County. She has often been interrogated and coerced to give a confession.

On November 16, she joined the first successful attempt to display a banner in Tiananmen Square. She was detained while practicing the exercises. She was held in Beijing for half a month and then for an additional month after being taken back to Wenchuan by the police. She resolutely continued to practice the exercises after her release. At the end of December 2000, she went to Beijing again to validate Dafa. She was detained again in Tiananmen Square. He attained Dafa in 1997. In October 1999, he went to Beijing to appeal and safeguard Dafa. On November 16, 1999, he participated the first exercise practice, displaying a banner in Tiananmen Square. He was taken into a police car. When he got out of the car in front of the Tiananmen Police Station, he walked away openly and aboveboard; the police did not see him.
He then went to Canton to join an experience sharing conference. Due to the exposure of the conference, a few days later all Dafa practitioners were arrested. In prison, he went on hunger strike and was brutally force-fed with salty food. He would rather have died than give in. They force-fed him two times and he still did not give in. A group of more than 20 hardened criminals were amazed to see that the demon-like prison guards, with their red and yellow clothing, could not deter Falun Dafa practitioners.
After he was detained 16 days in Guangzhou, Wenchuan police took him back to his home county. He was released after 33 days. On Dec 29, 2000, he again went to Beijing to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa. He was asked by a policeman to swear at Dafa. He firmly refused and was taken into a police car and was taken to various prisons. He was taken to Shunyii for 2 days and they handed him over to Wenchuan police. He was imprisoned for 37 days in Wenchuan County and then forced to join a brainwashing class for more than six months. He was finally bailed out by authorities from his workplace.
After being imprisoned illegally two times by the police, the supervisors of his workplace added to the persecution of this Dafa practitioner. They stopped paying his retirement wages and gave him only 300 Yuan as a monthly living expense (Translator's note: Yuan is Chinese currency. An average wage is about 500 Yuan.). This created hardship for his family of four. His daughter has been laid off and has no income. His grandson is still in school. His wife is detained in Nanmusi Women's Forced Labor Camp.
