The March 2001 European Falun Dafa Conference came to a successful close in Geneva, Switzerland today. More than 1,300 practitioners from Europe, Australia, Asia and North America attended the conference. This conference was held during a special time when the United Nations is holding an international convention in Geneva to discuss human rights and torture. The sky was a crisp blue with bright sunshine, even though the forecast called for rain all day.

On Feb 27, I went to Tiananmen Square to petition peacefully. Together with a few other fellow practitioners, I unfurled a banner that read "Constantly Spinning, Falun Offers Salvation to All Lives". We also called out loudly, "Falun Dafa is righteous." At this time, two plain-clothes policemen rushed over and took away the banner. On Saturday March 10, Falun Gong practitioners from the areas of Epping and Sydney, were invited to the Sydney Funding Meeting held by the International Women' Rights Organization. This meeting was one of the activities planned in celebration of International Women' Day in Australia. Approximately twenty organizations and guests attended, and all who were present that day expressed their concern and sympathy for the bitter predicament of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
