At noon on June 17, US Pacific Time, a colorful ring appeared around the sun in the San Francisco area. Small auras with different sizes and colors could also be seen inside and outside the sun ring and seemed to be rotating around the center of the ring. The ring lasted for about an hour before it gradually dissipated.
