[Minghui Net] Below is a letter from the father of Zhang Cuiying, who is a painter and a Falun Dafa practitioner in Australia. Her father resides in China.
Ying:
Ms. Jin Xiang's son, Chen Zhongsheng (my distant nephew) was a company commander in the PLA Army. His heart ailment was cured after practicing Falun Gong. After becoming aware of Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong, he went to appeal but was arrested. He was dismissed from his position and expelled from the XX Party. His family was broken up and on top of that, he was sentenced to two years in a labor camp. He was jailed at the Jinhua Labor Camp and we have completely lost contact with him. Even his own parents are not allowed to visit him.
As far as your mom and I are concerned, the police do as they please. We could be arrested and detained at their discretion and will. They could ransack our home at any time. All of our possessions, including all our electric appliances, have been seized. One night after we had gone to bed, the police suddenly came pounding at the door. We were taken away and held for interrogation for a whole month. They released us only after they could not get anything out of us. Meanwhile, they asked the neighborhood association deputies to put a daily surveillance on us.
Now the evil beings have utilized just about every conceivable form of trickery. They have bribed and coerced people from all different walks of life. They have even rounded up monks and nuns to join the so-called "Anti-Falun Gong Association." The monks and nuns from the Longhua temple and Yufo temple (both are in Shanghai city) have joined this organization. Monks and nuns should adhere to "cultivation of speech and precept." Jiang Zemin government has simply made use of them. Is there some way for you people overseas to write to them to clarify the truth? Let's see what further chicanery the evil beings will come up with.
Dad,
