To call for the urgent rescue of Falun Gong practitioners persecuted in mainland China, especially the 130 practitioners whose lives are in danger at the Masanjia Labor Camp, at 4pm on August 18, practitioners from the greater New York City area started 130 hours of silent sitting in front of the Chinese consulate in New York City.
