Enthusiastically following Jiang Zemin's political directive, certain members of the Chinese Embassy in Russia recently used all means to defame Falun Gong. They are continuously spreading rumours and false accusations about Falun Gong to the newspapers and TV stations. Worse still, they have directed hired thugs to threaten the OPT (a major TV station in Russia), claiming themselves to be people-in-charge from Falun Gong saying, "News about Falun Gong is not meant for the public, OPT does not have the right to broadcast information about Falun Gong."
These thugs even threatened to set the TV centre on fire, and to bring personal harm to the manager of the TV station, etc. Through such low means they aim at creating a bad image of Falun Gong, and to incite hatred against Falun Gong. As a result, the TV station was fooled by the Chinese Embassy and aired the Chinese TV footage of the "self-immolation" incident, without understanding the real story.
Using compassion and righteous minds, Russian Dafa practitioners visited this TV station. They calmly and patiently explained and clarified the truth, and changed the reporters' and editors' attitude towards Falun Gong. Not only did the staff from the TV station reveal the above story, they also sincerely said to the practitioners that: "We can tell you are the real Falun Gong practitioners. We trust you, you are good people." They promised to air more truth clarifying reports in the future regarding Falun Gong, and to clear Falun Gong's name from the defamation.
A lie can only deceive but once, and it cannot hide its evil nature. We solemnly advise those who are willing to trade their conscience for money and power, that "good and evil are rewarded accordingly" is a heavenly law, which hasn't changed in the past, and will never change in the future. Stop your criminal acts; do not allow immediate profit and short sightedness to destroy your own eternal life.
