(Clearwisdom.net) Female Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Qiulan, who was imprisoned in the Daqing Detention Center for distributing literature that clarified the truth about Falun Dafa, was tortured to death on August 24, 2001. Three other practitioners being held in the same detention center have been on hunger strikes for weeks to protest their illegal imprisonment. Among them, He Zhihong (female) has been on hunger strike for 52 days and is in critical condition.
