1. Slandering the Buddha Law Creates Boundless Karma
Thirty-year-old Jiang Reihai lived in Douya Village, Tingkou Town, Qixia City, Shandong Province. He always slandered Dafa. This spring, when he talked to others about Dafa, he said, "I would rather die first than see Falun Gong's reputation restored." Then he was hospitalized. On the day before he planned to leave the hospital, a relative visited him, and his family members escorted the relative out. When they returned, they discovered that Jiang had spewed a pool of blood and was already dead in his bed.
2. Former Head of Liaoyang City Custodial Center Held in Custody
Li, the former head of Liaoyang City's custodial center, persecuted Falun Gong practitioners during his term of office from 1999 to 2000. He forced practitioners to write "guarantee" letters stating that they would never again practice Falun Gong; would not go to Beijing to appeal, etc. For purposes of making their testimonies tally, he colluded with Ma Xiangdong, the ex-standing deputy mayor of Shenyang City in Liaoning Province. Ma was being held in the same custodial center for crimes he had committed during his tenure as deputy mayor. Now Li is also being held in custody because he was a messenger/informant for Ma and accepted bribes.
3. Persecuting Falun Gong Brings Disaster To Relative
On August 17, 2001, police in Jinzhou City received a notice requesting them to arrest and escort back six local Falun Gong practitioners who had appealed in Tiananmen Square. Director Wang shouted loudly in the courtyard, "They should be shot..." No one answered.
At 2 p.m. the next day, six people from the Tiancun Village Land Agency of Jinzhou City's Land Tax Bureau, one of them a relative of Wang, were returning to the city when their vehicle collided with a large oil truck. All six died. Thus, Wang's persecution of Falun Gong brought disaster to his relative.
