On Sept. 8 and 9, under the Washington DC Memorial, participants of an African-American Family Day Festival found a peaceful area in the midst of all the loud music—the Falun Dafa booth. One African-American couple devoted lots of time for this Hongfa activity. During the two-day event, many people came to know Dafa, as they accepted the Dafa materials and learned the exercise. Many people also signed the petition to support Falun Gong and free Dr. Teng Chunyan.
