Huanghua city in Hebei province, has already recorded significant persecution of Dafa practitioners. Since July 1999, the police in Huanghua city have imposed illegal fines, illegal detentions, and illegal forced labor education on the Dafa practitioners who went to Beijing to appeal or distribute Falun Gong materials. The fines alone amount to some 600,000 Yuan RMB in this little city, not to mention the value of confiscated property such as: computers, printers, copiers, cell-phones, beepers, and other valuables.
In the Police Department and detention centers, Dafa practitioners who are determined to continue their cultivation have been handcuffed, shackled, beaten, and abused. These shackles can weigh up to 55 pounds and inflict grave suffering.
A 30-year old female practitioner Shi Quanfeng from Sunzheng Village, Huanghua city, was sentenced to two years forced labor education. At first, she was sent to Kaiping Labor Camp in Tangshan area of Hebei Province. Later, because she resolved to continue in her cultivation and refused to cooperate with the evil forces, she was sent to another labor camp where her relatives were not permitted to visit her. Now we do not know her whereabouts. Labor camps in Hebei province often move those very determined Dafa practitioners from place to place so that their friends and relatives are unable to trace them and do not even know if they are still alive or not. Another female practitioner in her 30's, Wu Xiuguang, was sent to Kaiping Labor Camp in Tangshan at first, then, to another labor camp in Shijiazhuang and then to Gaoyang Labor Camp in Baoding area. Now we are unable to trace her as well.
The vicious police also encourage informers to report Dafa practitioners to the police department. Informers receive a bounty of 2,000 Yuan for turning in practitioners who post Dafa materials and from 30,000 to 100,000 Yuan for supplying the police with information on those "Wanted practitioners." This reward money comes from the fines extorted from the Dafa practitioners themselves.
On July 21, 2001, the Huanghua city police called some practitioners, allegedly for a meeting, but it turned out to be a trap. Several practitioners were sent for brainwashing and others were held in custody, where they remain to this day. Their names are: Yang Jie (female, in her 20's), Li Jincheng (male, in his 20's), Yang Xiufeng (female, in her 30's) and Wu Fengmin (male, in his 60's). The current situation of these practitioners is unknown to us at this time. It is said that they are not allowed to leave the "Brainwashing Class," nor are they allowed to see their family unless they write a letter of repentance.
The leader of the Falun Dafa persecutors in Huanghua city, Shi Jinzhu (male, section director of the city police department) is infamous for abusing and beating practitioners and for his denunciation of Master Li. He also imposes fines, searches houses, even uses instruments of torture on Dafa practitioners. In the summer of 2000, after Dafa practitioners Wang Hui, Wu Xiuguang, and Chen Xiumei were arrested for distributing Dafa materials, Shi Jinzhu ordered his officers to savagely beat those practitioners. Wang Hui was so badly injured that he was unable to move. At the end of May 2001, a practitioner Xiaolin (full name unknown) came to Huanghua city from another province. He was arrested for printing Dafa materials. During his interrogation, Shi Jinzhu resorted to all kinds of torture on his prisoner. At the end, after Xiaolin had been tortured almost to death, he was sent to a detention center. Shi Jinzhu recently got a promotion from Jiang Zemin's political gang for his persecution of Dafa practitioners.
We have a saying: "There are Gods watching over you three feet above your head." So no one can avoid the punishment of heaven. Here is a piece of advice to Shi Jinzhu and others like him: Stop the persecution of Dafa practitioners and repent your crimes or you are sure to receive your just retribution!
