(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Gong practitioner Wang Xiufang, female, 36 years old, was an English Language teacher at Jilin Province Specialized Agriculture College. Wang lived in Zuojia District of Jilin Province. She was kidnapped on December 21, 2001 while distributing Falun Gong materials at Tumenling Township, Jiutai City. She was then detained at Jiutai Detention Center, where she began a hunger strike. On January 1, 2002, she died as a result of force-feeding by the police.
Fu Chunsheng, an employee of the Hydro-Engineering Machinery Plant in Jilin City, had been illegally sentenced to one year of forced labor "re-education" for going to Beijing to safeguard Falun Dafa.
