HOUSTON, October 22, 2002, (Falun Dafa Information Center) -- Days before Chinese Communist leader, Jiang Zemin's, visit to Houston, local businesses and residents have already begun feeeling the pressure.
(Clearwisdom.net) According to students attending the University of Texas, the Friendship Association of Chinese Students & Scholars (known as FACSS) has required that any student to participate in the Welcoming Group during Jiang's visit must first sign a document relinquishing their U.S. constitutional first amendment right.
SAN ANTONIO -- A group of Falun Gong practitioners stopped in San Antonio on Monday to raise awareness about family members being held in Chinese prisons.
The visit in front of City Hall is part of a nationwide rescue drive in Texas that precedes a meeting between President George W. Bush and Chinese communist leader Jiang Zemin on Oct. 25 at Bush's ranch in Crawford.
