1. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Criminal Acts in Zhangshi Brainwashing Center
To force practitioners to give up cultivation, the Zhangshi Brainwashing Center used abusive methods to threaten, coerce, and physically punish practitioners such as depriving them of sleep for consecutive days. The Dongli district officials of Harbin City plan to open another brainwashing session. It had one session during the period of the Sixteenth Party Congress. We don't know how many practitioners were forced to attend that session, but we cannot allow them to do it again this time.
3. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Niushikou Police Station Arrest Practitioners Lin Xu, Xiao Junbi and Lian Ruizhen
On September 3, the Niushikou Police Station arrested practitioners Lin Xu, Xiao Junbi (female), Lian Ruizhen (female) and took them to the headquarters of the Jinjiang District "610 Office" [a bureau specifically created by the Jiang's government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches] for brainwashing. Sources said that the headquarters has detained ten to twenty practitioners. The perpetrators are the Jinjiang District "610 Office" and its judicial agents including community offices, police stations, and residence committees.
The Niushikong Police Station previously said that the detained practitioners would be released after the Sixteenth Party Congress. Now they are saying that it will depend on whether the practitioners accept the brainwashing and cooperate with them.

4. [Anhui Province] "610 Offices" Escalate the Persecution of Dafa Practitioners during the Sixteenth Party Congress
During the period of the Sixteenth Party Congress, "610 Offices" in many areas, including Hefei, Huangshan, Fuyang, Chaohu, Chuzhou, Linquan, Rongchang, Feidong, Ningguo, Bangbu, Tianchang, Ma'anshan, and Mengcheng, monitored practitioners 24 hours of every day to prevent them from going to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong or visit Dafa-related websites. Practitioners' basic human rights are severely violated by "610 Offices" and their daily lives are severely affected.
Student Li Gangfeng from the Anhui Agriculture University is a practitioner. He was arrested last month for his belief in Falun Gong. The Anhui "610 Office" denied Li's brother's request to visit him in the forced labor camp.
5. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] The Second Team in the Longshan Forced Labor Camp Tortures Practitioners
The head of the second team in the Longshan Forced Labor Camp, whose last name is Tang, brutally tortured practitioners and would not allow them to sleep for consecutive days. He used vicious ways to torture and beat up practitioners, which caused their bodies to be covered with cuts and wounds. He tried to block information about what was happening from leaking out and denied practitioners' family members permission to visit.
