In the midst of the terror that was created by lies and deceit, they've held up under the persecution, which is just evil to the extreme, and they've made it through these three years. That's outstanding! Ordinary people couldn't do that.

Gong, the spiritual movement banned in mainland China, stage a
sit-in protest December 15, 2002 against a controversial
anti-subversion law, which rights activists and legal experts worry
may roll back civil liberties. A survey revealed on Friday that
anxiety over the law has raised public concern over individual and
political freedoms in the territory to record levels since the
former British colony returned to China's sovereignty.
