(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionateáreminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Compare the Consequences After a Car Accident
An unknown Dafa Practitioner in China was clarifying the truth at his company. Managers and workers there all know that Dafa is good. In the later part of September this year, the company car had an accident returning from a long trip. A big truck smashed it against an electric pole. The 16-foot car was compressed into 7 feet. People who saw it all said, "The people in the car must be all dead." But the five people in the car were all fine without the slightest injury. People sitting in the front were covered with broken glass but had no cuts. A van from a TV station was also involved in the accident. The van was not damaged as badly as the car, but one of the passengers, a reporter, was killed instantly. A female news anchor was partially paralyzed and disfigured. Four others were also injured.
Laiyang City, Shangdong Province: Law-Breaking Official Punished by Heaven's Law
Zhan Kewei was an official in Tuanwang Town, Laiyang City. After July 20, 1999, he viciously beat Falun Gong practitioners many times. He beat over a dozen people. A few Falun Gong practitioners were beaten so badly that they were completely covered with bruises from their waists to their knees. There was one old man who lived alone and could not take care of himself; he had to support himself with a stick when he walked. He went to validate the Fa after practicing Falun Gong. He was tortured many times by this vicious criminal, Zhan Kewei.
Zhan Kewei had a car accident in October 2002. He broke five ribs and hurt his spleen. His hospital bill was close to twenty thousand Yuan. He was solely responsible for his own medical expenses; the government offered no help at all. Since he could not afford to stay in the hospital, he was forced to move back home to recuperate. This is heaven's law of retribution.
Incident of Retribution at Shuangyashan Region, Heilongjiang Province
On November 8, 2002, Shuangyashan City Guangming Elementary School principal Wang Yulan and a few others kidnapped four Dafa practitioners, including Ma Yuzhi, and took them to a detention center. Now Wang Yulan has received retribution: She tore a tendon in her left leg in a fall. She is now staying at the People's Hospital. The doctor said it would be about 40 days before she could walk.
Vicious Person from Weifang City, Shandong Province Receives Retribution
Wang Tao, male, thirty years old, is a staff member at the security department at Weifang City Mining Company. He beat and cursed Falun Gong practitioners with no mercy: He handcuffed practitioners to a pole and let the sun burn them. He took Master Li's pictures from practitioners and tore them up while spitting curses. Every time Falun Gong practitioners were arrested, he led the police to ransack their homes. This caused many practitioners to leave their homes and become homeless. Many have been unable to return to this day.
Some days ago, Wang Tao was repairing electrical wires in the building. He was shocked by electricity and fell down a flight of stairs. He broke a rib and could not move for 3 months. We hope that he will now realize that it is heaven's law that doing bad deeds brings retribution.
