Hurry Up and Tell the Precious Chinese People the Truth
Falun Dafa practitioners in Canada placed many poems at a popular tourist site where visiting Chinese officials go, in order to wake up the officials' consciences. The poems read, "This trip is not an ordinary trip, read on and pay attention, so that you will not be regretful later; the truth will be revealed soon, then you will realize that our meeting was predestined."
Facts of the Persecution
Evil police in Shandan County, Zhangye District, Gansu Province persecute Falun Dafa and Dafa disciples. They use all sorts of means to lure Falun Dafa practitioners into detention centers for brainwashing. Some Dafa disciples were illegally detained, or sent to labor camp. The chair of the Political and Judiciary Committee of the "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems)) He Zhenjiang, and vice chair Li Jianping established a brainwashing class in July 2002, and since then have forced Falun Dafa practitioners to write the "three statements" ["three statements" are documents coerced under extreme pressure, torture and brainwashing, designed by the Chinese authority to ensure that detained Falun Gong practitioners be appropriately brain-washed. The statements consist of a letter of repentance, a guarantee to never again practice Falun Gong, and a list containing names and addresses of all family, friends and acquaintances of the detainee who practices Falun Gong. This system was concocted by the "610" office]. A couple collaborators [practitioners who have gone astray due to severe persecution] Luo Tianwen and Zhang Xueshou helped with the persecution.
Before October 1st, Police in Anping County, Hebei Province were arresting Dafa disciples everywhere. They searched three Dafa practitioners' homes, arrested several practitioners, sent four to a detention center, released two, sent five to the Hengshui brainwashing class, and sent one to another province. Some practitioners were forced to leave home to avoid being illegally arrested at home. Police stormed Falun Dafa practitioners' homes and illegally ransacked their homes like robbers. They also extorted money from practitioners' family members.
News and Activities from around the World
The Liberty Times reported that the Party is using Article 23 to continue its totalitarian oppression of Falun Gong and other peaceful organizations. In addition, China is betraying its promise under the fifth article of the Basic Law to keep Hong Kong's "one country, two systems" government unchanged for 50 years, and has thus extended its backwards dictatorship to the people of Hong Kong, and directly violated the basic human rights and freedom of the people of Hong Kong. The government of Hong Kong should not sacrifice people's freedom and rights in order to submit to political power. Hopefully, the government of Hong Kong will refuse this extension of dictatorship with rationality, and listen to the voices of the people of Hong Kong who oppose Article 23.
Scientific Exploration
The publication Author's Abstracts from the Chinese Literature Association published an article on November 26th, 2002, entitled "High-tech War in Ancient India." The article says that one ancient Indian story described in detail a war that took place prior to 1000 BC, in which people used weapons similar to those of our nuclear weapons, and soldiers used flying vehicles similar to modern day "spaceships." Recently, remains of this war have been found not only in India, but also in Babylon, the Sahara Desert, and Mongolia. People have even found the remains of a nuclear reactor plant that existed 2 billion years ago in Africa. Hopefully this article will make people stop and think, and hopefully all kind-hearted beings can hear about the Buddha's Law!
