Amnesty International has raised concerns about detained Falun Gong follower
Yoko Kaneko, 37, warning she may have been tortured. Mainland-born Kaneko, who
is based in Japan, has reportedly been admitted to hospital suffering high blood
pressure. "According to reports, [Kaneko] has bruising around her wrists and has
lost weight, indicating that she may have been ill-treated while in the labour
camp," it said. Kaneko was arrested in May for distributing material about the
banned group in Beijing. AFP
